Point Guard College Clinic - Boys and Girls

The New Jersey Panthers will host our second Point Guard College Clinic Mar 12-14. The schedule is as follows...

Friday, Mar 12, 5:00pm-8:00pm
Saturday, Mar 13, 9:00am-Noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm
Sunday, Mar 14, 9:00am-Noon and 1:00pm-4:00pm

This clinic is for all players - boys, girls, all positions. Each session will follow the standard Point Guard College format - time in the classromm watching film and listening to instruction, followed by time in the gym doing drills. The fee includes all five sessions. While players are certainly encouraged to attend all sessions, it is not mandatory that they do so. Players need to bring their own lunch Saturday and Sunday.

The fee for the clinic is $100.

New Jersey Panthers and New Jersey Crusaders Merge  

We are delighted to announce that the New Jersey Panthers and the New Jersey Crusaders, two of New Jersey’s highly regarded teaching and college placement programs, have merged. Teams will play under the Panthers name, with the exception of the current Crusaders 16U team which will retain the Crusader name for 2010. Jerry Aquino, founder of the West Orange Basketball Association and the Crusaders AAU teams, and Head Coach at Mount St Dominic Academy, will coach the Panthers 12U and 13U teams. Mary Alice Zavocki, long time Crusader coach of numerous championship teams, will coach one of the 14U, 15U, or 16U teams each year. The coaching assignments for 2010 can be found on the Coaches tab.

The addition of the Crusader coaches and players to the Panthers organization will enhance our shared mission – to provide the highest quality player development and college recruiting experience available to student athletes. Our Mission Statement can be found on the Mission tab; the Crusaders share these values, and will greatly enhance our ability to teach them. The Panthers college recruiting success can be found on the Alumni tab; the roster of Crusader alumni adds an impressive list of players and schools to our shared history.
